I do listen to one or two *music* podcasts (MN Public Radio's Song of the Day from the Current, and the World Cafe podcast from NPR - they're both great for new music). I just started knitting in public - I joined a local knitting group, and we meet at different coffee shops. We've only met twice so far, and both times we've had people make positive comments. They've all been from men too, and they seemed to think it was really cool that we were knitting :) I don't think I've ever got a bad comment about knitting. Though, I did have a friend point out to me one time that I like things that older people like ("like knitting", she says). On my needles: The Classic Sock by Nancy Bush! They'll be done by the weekend! And last but not least, Hi!
